Quell Field Notes

About / Quell Field Notes

Small observations, kept well.

Quell Field Notes is an independent journal about waterlines and slow journeys.

Our point of view

Instead of looking only across the water, we turn toward its edge. The textures found there offer a quieter account of the landscape and a useful starting point for a short photographic sequence.

Travel lightly and stay on established access routes. Keeping a little distance from the busiest viewpoint often creates a better experience for both visitors and the landscape. A map is useful even on a familiar walk.
